Stay warm ---- super easy, fast, warm scarf

Recently I have knitted and crocheted lots little stuff. of course they are all for  Xmas gifts. Like this crochet infinity scarf is super easy, fast and warm. It can be the last minute Xmas gift project.

Last night I went to my knitting group. We exchanged gift and talk, drink, eat. We had wonderful time together. Of course we knitted too. That is how I finished this project. I sewed the buttons when I got home.

I used totally 2 balls Lionbrand yarn -- wool ease -- thick & quick, crochet hook 9 mm. It went really fast. After I sew the buttons on, it turns out really pretty. Tomorrow it will fly to Cananda for my niece Angela. I am sure  she could use this warm scafr over there.

sts: CO 70sts. work on single sts till you run out yarn. then sew 3 button at end. turn 90 degree on the other end and sew a button at side, where it can hold the end and fits you comforably.

Isn't easy enought?? hope you will have fun with this project.

total yarn used 150g. 9mm crochet hook. finished size 11" X 5"
CO 22 sts, crochet in the round with half double sts.

Super wamr cowl + hoodie

Are you for winter yet? Jade and Ginger are:). So far the weather has been pretty good, then last night turned to really cold. It is just perfect timing when I finished these two projects. ---supper warm, super soft, super cute. I made a warm cowl for Jade and a cowl with hoodie for Ginger. They like it very much.

They are very easy to make. Jade picked up the peach yarn--Bernat Pipsqueak, because it is super soft and  when I picked up this homspun thick& quick, I knew they would be looked good together. Here they are.

Yarn: 1 ball Bernat pipsqueak / peach; 1 skein homespun Thick & Quick / sping stripes (used all)
Neddle:Circular US 15 (10mm) ; Crocher hook 8mm for hoodie edge

Warm cowl: 11" X 16";
CO 40sts, joining together. worked in the round. work on garther sts 4 rows. then ST st till 16" from CO.  BO

Warm cowl with hoodie: basic it is a L shape. CO 40, joining together, worked in ther round. Work on garther sts 4 rows. then ST st 6.5"(16cm) from CO.
Next rnd 1,3: P 18, k 22; Next 2, 4: k; Next rnd 5: BO 18, K22. Work on rest of 22 sts (k in RS, p in WS) till the whole piece measured 16" from CO. fold in half , WS together, use 1 strand BO(I use the homespun yarn), then use the other strand(peach yarn) , work on SC st, crochet around the L shape for 5 rows. then BO.

Well, if you will like this project. These kind of yarn are very easy take care. and kids love the snuggie softness.

This pattern is for personal use ONLY!

Have a warm winter.

Happy Halloween

I like all kinds of hand work. Quilting is one of kind of work I love to learn, and I am  absoultely  a beginner. I took a beginner class at local quilt shop. I fall in love with this kind work. In our group, Leslie is a very good quilter. Her work is just amazing. She always has project to work on,  and she is willing to teach us whatever we want to learn.

Here is a small project I learned from her. Of course for a beginner I didn't do a very good job. At least I finished this probject:). My girls like it. It is something I made for our home.

Thank you Leslie, I had so much fun making this.

she even precut fabric for us

                                                          heat bond all the pieces
