Cute mini felting crochet bag for Ginger's American girl doll

I have made a mini crochet bag and felted for my daughter's doll. My daughter Ginger really loved it. and it is really cute.
here is how if you crochet.
100% wool. Crochet hook J-10 6mm
Beg: magic ring and 6 sc in the ring. do not join, just work round and round. put a stitch marker knowing the new round.
Rnd 1: 2 sc in every sts. -  12 sts.
Rnd 2: 2 sc in first st,  1 sc in next sts. Rep to end. - 18 sts.
Rnd 3: 2 sc in first st.  1 sc in next 2 sts. rep to end. - 24 sts.
Rnd 4: 2 sc in first st. 1 sc in next 3 sts. rep to end. - 30 sts.
work evenly for about 2"
next rnd: sc on next 5 sts, ch 5, skip 5 sts. sc on next 10 sts. ch 5, skip 5 sts. sc to end. then work sc around 5 more rnds. cut the yarn and weave the ends.

ch - chain              rep - repeatrnd - round       sc - single crochet.         st(s) - stitch(es)

Felting:
wash the bag with hot water. drop 1 or 2 Down kitchen soap. back forth rolling in your hand. and beat on the kitchen sink. you will see the result pretty soon. check the size till the way you like. Most likely until you won't see the stitches anymore. then wash in cold water. lay it flat to dry.

I also add some star buttons to give the bag addition.

I think Saturn ( Ginger's doll) enjoy this bag a lot. 

 It is just perfect for her.

Lady bug needle felting bag

Last week I tried a different way doing needle felting. It looked so cute.

I crochet 2 spiral hearts and felting and handing on the belt. it is a great addition to this bag.

 I love the green color pop it out.

 I used the stencil to fill the ladybug. It worked very nicely. 

 I put a lining in the bad to make better support.

 I really enjoy hand stitch. every time I do this it reminds me my friend Leslie. She has taught me so much sewing techniques.

 the cross shoulder belt I have tried many ways to put on. finally, I sewed on one in the front and the other on the back. I also add a plastic ring crochet around and sew on the belt.

Beautiful tree

I knitted a piece, it was a square. But after washed, it was totally out of shape. I have a top loader wash machine. then I followed the shape flat to dry. I think it is the perfect shape for needle felting a tree. so here it is, I love the bright colors. I showed to my knitting group and they all love it. We might create a needle felting class. 

                                     

I also iron a piece felt give a extra support. 

 use yarn sew a 2 loops for hanging on the wall. 

 The clay bird which my friend Sarah made for my last Xmas. They are together just perfect match.

Sing for Spring bag

This felting bag is one of my favors. I love the color and the cute bird.
I used T-shirt yarn sew 2 buttons on each side. It totally matches together so well.

Felting Bags

I have done some needle felting lately. and I think it is so much fun. I love feeling the softness of fiber and love seeing the beautiful and bright colors.

This is made for my daughter Ginger. The image supposes to be her and her dog Scooby.
It turned out not bad. at least she likes :)
